From your Mission Committee:

What a fun and busy Wednesday we had last week! First, church volunteers visited the residents of Fellowship Manor in Whitehall, ate delicious soft pretzels , drank yummy Birch Beer, listened to live music from John Stevens, and finished up with a rousing game of Bingo with enhanced prizes! 

We then traveled back to church to dine on a bountiful Pot Luck dinner with our Church Family, danced to John Stevens’s live accordion music, and enjoyed delightful desserts! John is an experienced and engaging entertainer, and since he was traveling from his home in Wilkesbarre, we booked him for a double event! He was gracious enough to accept the two gigs and he worked a full day! We just love John Stevens!

What a lively, entertaining day! The fellowship, fun, laughter and camaraderie we experienced with our Church Family is truly a blessing.   A big thank you to Vicki and Dave Beer who, with the support of the Mission Committee, coordinated our Pot Luck dinner! This was our first pot luck event since Covid, so we might have been a little rusty with the details! Vicki and Dave were exceptional coordinators and steered us with ease - your Church Family thanks you!!
